Clear, transparent policies governing our hosting services, billing, and data protection practices.
Last Updated: September 24, 2026
Solstice Hosting agrees to furnish services to the customer subject to complete compliance with our Terms of Service and Acceptable Use Policy (AUP). We reserve the right to refuse service to any potential customer at our sole discretion.
Solstice Hosting shall be the sole arbiter as to what constitutes a violation of our policies. Failure to follow any terms is grounds for immediate account deactivation or termination without prior notice.
Our terms are subject to change at any time at our sole discretion. Policy changes do not constitute grounds for early contract termination or non-payment. Rate adjustments based on hardware availability or market fluctuations will be communicated prior to billing if they alter recurring monthly charges.
Hosting service plans are eligible for a limited refund within 25 days of initial account registration. This applies exclusively to the first service of a new client. Additional orders, subsequent accounts, or customers who have previously held and canceled an account are not eligible.
Domain registrations, SSL certificates, and third-party add-ons are strictly non-refundable.
Violations of this agreement, service suspensions/terminations due to policy non-compliance, or misbehaving with our support team (via chat, ticket, phone, or email) will immediately void all refund eligibility. Refunds are only applicable for valid technical reasons that cannot be resolved by our team.
Invoices for all services are generated 10 days prior to the due date. You are responsible for ensuring payment is completed on time.
Accounts that become past due will incur a non-negotiable 10% late fee after 5 days, automatically added to the invoice. Services affiliated with invoices over 20 days past due are subject to immediate termination.
Initiating a dispute or chargeback with PayPal, credit card issuers, or alternative payment processors will result in the immediate suspension of all services and a $100 administrative fine. False chargebacks are considered fraudulent.
Service plans accommodate standard web hosting needs. Hosting accounts must not be used as remote file storage repositories. Any website where file storage exceeds 70% of total usage (in size or file count) without serving active web pages may be reviewed for compliance.
Customer scripts and services may not use more than 90% of one CPU core per process thread for more than 15 minutes, and no more than 200% of two CPU cores for more than 2 minutes. Exceeding these limits will result in automatic process throttling.
While we maintain weekly hardware-mirrored backups (RAID 10) for emergency recovery purposes, users are strictly advised to maintain independent local backups. Solstice Hosting is not responsible for lost data, income, or resources resulting from faulty or non-existent user backups, nor do we restore accidentally deleted single files.
Site transfers are offered as a courtesy service for 30 days following your sign-up date. While our team makes every effort to assist, we cannot guarantee successful migrations from incompatible or proprietary hosting platforms.
Violating system or network security—including unauthorized data access, vulnerability scanning, network flooding, mail bombing, IP spoofing, or running services listed on the Spamhaus Register of Known Spam Operations—is strictly prohibited and may result in civil or criminal liability, alongside a $150 intentional abuse fine.
Valid DMCA notices sent to our abuse department will result in immediate removal or disabling of access to infringing material. Repeat offenders will be permanently terminated.
